Every time you buy a 2kg or above cake from Celebrating Life Bakery, we allow you to nominate someone less fortunate or under privileged in Abu Dhabi to receive a complimentary cake on their birthday.
Celebrating Life Bakery is passionate about the hard working labourers in Abu Dhabi, who work tirelessly every day to build the city into a place that we can call home.
We wanted to celebrate these workers, as well as make them feel appreciated, so we founded #CakeforCake
This adds such meaning to an otherwise regular day in their life! In addition, it has a very Community feel to it that makes it more special.

How does #CakeforCake actually work?
You order a pre-made or customized cake from Celebrating Life Bakery.
Nominate someone less fortunate or under privileged to receive a birthday cake!
We visit the recipient with the cake, balloons, banners and make a real celebration of their birthday.
Since April 2016 have already celebrated 1000 plus birthdays in Abu Dhabi and plan to celebrate as many birthdays as possible!

What impact does #CakeforCake have on the city?
Our celebrants have included security guards, labourers, cleaners and construction workers, some of whom have never celebrated their birthdays.
Our events make them feel happy, positive and most of all appreciated for all they do for us in the city.
Our customers also feel part of the movement too, as they are able to nominate a worthy candidate as well as volunteer to join us for the birthday celebrations!
